Then Sunday we went and visited a bunch of members in the area and had a lot of fun! Oh and on Thursday Elder Mosher went to the temple so I got to spend all day with him! We had to deliver a package so we got to go back to Emmett! It was a very eventful week!

Week #60 9-15-15

With Elder Hamel from Highland HS

Hey every one how is it going?? This week was a long one! but a good one! The work here is still pretty slow, but we are trying!

So this week we had a zone conference with Elder Grow of the First Quorum of the Seventy! It was really good! He talked about a lot of things but one thing that stood out to me was a quote! I don't remember who it was from but it was "Things that don't change tend to stay the same!" Haha I just thought it was funny! He also talked about my calling as a missionary and how it was an extension of his! It was really cool! But he wasn't even the best part! I really really really liked our mission presidents wife talk! She shared a video about Joseph f. smith! It was about how he stood up to a mob ready to sacrifice his life in the Name of Jesus Christ! It was really cool! She then related to us that we need to be willing to stand up for whats right! It may not be our lives on the line but there are much smaller things that we need to stand up for! I know that when we have courage and do what is right Heavenly Father will bless us and will have our backs! He loves us and wants to see use our faith and be a beacon to those how are lost! So that is my challenge for everyone today! Remember who you are and stick to your guns! Take the path less traveled! It may be harder, but that is what makes it worth it! Love you guys! Thanks for all the support!

Week #59 9-7-15

Elder Rogers & Elder Mosher are excited about these tanks!

And Car show!

Uh Oh!

On exchanges with Elder Ward!

Hey everyone how was yall's week? Mine was pretty good! So we don't have going much going on, but we have gotten some pretty good referrals! The first guy lives in our ward and his wife is a member, but he isn't! So he is pretty close to two of the members in the Bishopric. So we were talking about him in Ward council and I guess that he has told them that he wants to get baptized. So this is the first I heard about it and now it is time to pounce! haha The only problem is his wife is kinda holding him back so hopefully we can work through that!

The second referral is a new family that moved into the ward! They haven't come to church and the three kids aren't members. But they have told us that they want to work on coming back to church so hopefully we can get things rolling and baptize the kids because they aren't members!

So now I will tell you about the Drunk fight I broke up! It was really fun! So Me and Elder Ward went on exchanges in our area, and I am still learning the area so I didn't really know where to go after we hit the spots that I knew. But we were riding our bikes up a hill and we rode passed a house that I have been to before! We heard a bunch of yelling and I realized that the couple was in a fight. So I didn't really want to intervene so I tried riding by with out getting spotted. But unfortunately he saw me. She yelled across the street " Mormons we need you!" haha and I was nervous to go over there! So I don't really remember much of the details of the argument, because the spirit like took over my body! I felt like I could take on the world! In the words of Elder Ward I was " A Complete Bad ---"! His words not mine! But I guess I just went ham in the paint and preached repentance harder than ever! It was the greatest feeling! Anyways, that was basically my week!

Well I love you guys! Thanks for all the support! Love you guys!

Week #58 8-31-15

Spoiled by Linda Jensen.  She fed them steak and salmon and Elder Rogers said it was amazing!

Hey everyone! So this week was really good! I got my haircut and I felt 10 times as fast on my bike! It's great! Anyways, so cool experience, well still in the making a little. But in zone meeting, they committed the whole mission to focus on teaching families! But the problem is that we aren't really teaching any families, so we need to find some! So we were going to fast and pray to find a family, then we realized that it wouldn't do anything if we didn't act on it! So instead we prayed and fasted for the name of a family in the ward who know's a family that has been prepared by Heavenly father to listen to our message! SO we went to that family's house last night and told them! Now they are praying to figure out who it is! So keep them in your prayers! They are the D Family!

So this week has just been a lot of non progressing people so there isn't to much to talk about! But I did eat dinner with Sister Jensen, a.k.a President Bean's sister. She is awesome! My mom has pics of that so hopefully she will post them! ANy ways, I love you guy sand know that Heavenly Father loves you and is looking out for you! Even though things seem like they suck, I challenge you to look for the little miracles!
Love you guys!
